Mónica Montalván, GRP Project Manager of Allele Mining Projects, with more than 15 years of experience in development, humanitarian aid, and cooperation. During these years, she completed a master’s degree in international Cooperation and Project Management at the Ortega & Gasset Research Institute in Madrid, Spain.
Montalván holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics with a specialization in International Relations from the University Thomas More in Nicaragua. Certified in Project Management Development PMD – PRO. Throughout her professional career, Monica has worked in different international organizations supporting programmatic areas. Monica has experience in implementing projects with donors such as IADB, the EU, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and UNICEF. The focus of her experience has been on planning, and M&E of projects and programs in Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti and Israel, involving small producers, women, children, youth and families.
