Paula Kantor, senior scientist in Development and Gender at CIMMYT, dedicated her career to promoting gender equality and sustainable development. She led projects to improving the livelihoods of communities in wheat-growing areas of Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Pakistan.

The inauguration of the CIMMYT Gender and Development Hub is a testament to Kantor’s commitment to gender equality and sustainable development. The Hub will continue her mission to promote gender-sensitive approaches to agricultural research and empower communities worldwide.
