The Middle East and North Africa Climate Week (MENACW) will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from October 8-12, 2023, hosted by the government of Saudi Arabia. The event is part of a series of Regional Climate Weeks leading up to COP28 in Dubai.
Under the theme, “Forging Pathways for Sustainable and Resilient Buildings in the MENA Region”, MENACW will cover four major topics to explore how these will shape regional climate change mitigation and food security goals: energy systems and industry; cities, urban and rural settlements, infrastructure and transport; land, ocean, food and water; societies, health, livelihoods and economies.CIMMYT participation at MENACW
