The African Development Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in partnership with the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and the CGIAR System Organization, will co-host a high-level dialogue: Feeding Africa: Leadership to scale up successful innovations.
Forum participants will identify ways to expand activities, financing and partnerships that promote Africa’s agricultural transformation through technology and innovation.
Martin Kropff, Director General of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), will participate in the session “Leveraging innovation and technology for transformation of african food systems – sharing success stories, challenges and opportunities.”
In particular, Kropff will participate in panel 5: “Climate-smart maize and soybean precision agriculture: Data, demography and drones,” on April 30, 2021, from 12:10 to 13:30 CEST.
