The Global Food Security Forum for Young Scientists aims to bring together scientists, scholars and innovators from different subjects to discuss their research findings and exchange innovative ideas on all aspects of global food security.
Co-organized by Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), and the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO), attendees can join in-person at HZAU or online via Zoom.
Topics for the forum include:
- Resilience of global food system and food supply chains.
- Change of dietary patterns and transition of agrifood system.
- Digital and smart food production.
- Sustainable agricultural development and maintenance of environment.
Keynote speakers include CIMMYT Director General Bram Govaerts.
